2005: Painting A World Of Enchantment
Paint a magical world of wonder! Bring a smile to every face …
… when you create projects where elves and faeries play with woodland creatures, dancing with grandfather mushrooms and fluttering butterflies, all under the warmth of the good ol’ sun.
American artist, Bobbie Takashima first took up a paint brush in 1960 and studied with many decorative artists who have helped to educate her and inspire her pursuit of her love of art. She does not hold any titles or art degrees but chooses to let her work speak for the years of self-study and experience in the field. Author of 5 painting books, along with numerous articles for magazines, she has also made her appearance on Japanese TV.
The idea of having Bobbie teach in Singapore was suggested by her painting companion, David Jansen, who recommended her for her `whacky’ sense of colour.
We are very honoured to have Bobbie teach us for 5 days, painting 3 projects with us.
